Born in Manchester, England. In Cali for 23 years. I haven’t met an aloe or agave I didn’t like. My favorite is Aloe vanbalenii due to its form and color: Octopus-shaped, and goes chartreuse green in the shade, or deep orange when stressed.

Terri

I was born and raised in Connecticut. I come from a big, loud Italian family.
I married my high school sweetheart and moved to San Diego in 1995.  We were only planning on staying here for 2 years, but we fell in love with this place! I love soft succulents, especially baby’s necklace, because they are just sooooooo adorable!!

I've been in San Diego for a total of 17 years. My favorite succulent is Echeveria 'Ruffles' - I have several in my yard and I love its texture. When it blooms, it looks Iike an undersea garden, and I love the babies it produces!

Amy D.

I was born in Las Vegas and grew up in Florida. I've lived in San Diego for a total of 10 years but grew up spending summers here with my aunt, so it's always felt like home.  My favorite succulent (how do you pick just one?) is Portulacaria afra variegata.  I love the contrast of color between the stem and the leaves, plus, it's delicious on a salad.
